Designing a new building in park Ezero in the town of Burgas (Bulgaria) for astronomical activities, was assigned to Tilev Architects in 2012. The building is composed of two main functional bodies – planetarium and astronomical observatory, which are clearly identifiable in separate volumes. The dynamical design aims to turn the new planetarium in one of the symbols of the town and has the potential to attract many visitors. The usage of natural materials and the treatment of the façades contribute to the harmonious integration of the building into the park area.
